As a visitor, you can play a key role in making HOST Istanbul a responsible, innovative, and sustainable event. Here's how you can contribute!
1 Take only the materials or brochures you truly need and plan to use. Check if there are digital options available
2 During the event, separate your waste and throw it into the correct recycling bins
3 When leaving, drop your badge into the recycling bins at the exit
4 Lower your carbon footprint by using public transport for your fair visits (You can also use our free shuttle service from central spots in Istanbul)
You too can contribute to sustainability as an exhibitor by making impactful choices during your participation. A great first step is opting for reusable stand designs instead of disposable ones.
We encourage our exhibitors to move away from single-use stands and actively promote awareness of Better Stands, an Informa-wide initiative designed to ensure that all core elements of exhibitor stands are reusable, fostering a more sustainable exhibition environment.
This system-based structure is crafted for repeated use in various formats and sizes, tailored to match the client’s unique style. Clients may choose to own it or rent it from a contractor, depending on their needs.
The structure of a stand is intended for one-time use, resulting in demolition and disposal post-event.
Ensure your contractor utilizes a process that enables repeated use of the stand structure. Mention this in your tender and confirm how they plan to manage the stand after the event.
